Rich Rechif
Rich Rechif is the President of Balboa Asset Management, a San Diego-based real estate investment firm focused on acquiring and restoring character-rich properties for long-term community value.
Rich began his career at Deloitte in Los Angeles, where he specialized in auditing real estate clients including asset managers, REITs, home builders, and hotels. He gained early experience in IPOs, corporate divestitures, and complex real estate transactions on both the buy and sell side. He returned to his native San Diego and worked with successful real estate investment and private equity groups before founding Balboa Real Estate Group in 2011.
Over the past fifteen years, Rich has built experience across the full spectrum of real estate — brokerage, acquisition, renovation, property management, asset management, finance, and construction. He has formed multiple successful real estate partnerships, producing strong returns and many happy returning investors. His approach is hands-on and patient: he co-invests meaningfully in every deal, manages the properties his firm owns, and holds for the long term.
A licensed California Real Estate Broker and Certified Public Accountant (inactive), Rich brings a rare combination of financial discipline and operational real estate experience to every project. He is a fourth-generation San Diegan, a USC graduate (BS and Master of Accountancy), and a proud Trojan, USDHS Don, and Rotarian.
